| In
the recent years, China saw a rapid development
in the beverage industry, with an annual increasing rate
of more than 20% (according to data of State Statistic
Bureau), some famous and large enterprises come to the
foe, such as Huiyuan, Huabang, Qianshou and so on in Beijing.
At present, Beijing has more than 600 beverage enterprises,
of which over 95% is private and small or medium business.
In addition, many tycoons in the beverage industry branched
out to Beijing market in succession with high expectation,
even some opened factory here, such as Symphony, Robust
and so on, which touched off a cut- throat competition
in the market, branded by “price war”. We can say that
beverage industry is one of the fastest developing industries
and most up-and coming famous brands in China. |

| In
the meantime of industry development, some problems
also occurred. |
| The
price war cut the profit, baffled the operation of some
businesses, along |
| with
slight down in the quality. In case the problem of quality
occurred, the |
| consumer
will bring complaints; it is likely trigger a catastrophe
in the |
| enterprise
and even whole industry. Take this Consumer Evening Party
as |
| example,
when the “bottling water event” was made public, an immediate
|
| shrink
took place in the bottling water market and many trustworthy
|
| enterprises
were also involved with a sharp fall in the sales. However,
the |
| event
is the result that some people or enterprises used illegal
bottle |
| regardless
of consumers’ rights and interests, while they are raiding
market |
| with
the lower price. “A sound development of industry calls
for |
| normalization
and care; we needs a clear sky and a fair competition,”
is the |
| heartfelt
wishes of present entrepreneur. |

| Furthermore,
the government will not intervene the industry management
along |
| with
the deepening market economy but give way to civil organization,
such as |
| industry
association and chamber of commerce; they will serve as
a bridge |
| between
the government and enterprise. From the survey, we found
a number of |
| beverage
enterprises hope to have a social group which can solve
the |
| practical
problem for them through NPC deputy and commissioner of

| The
industry Chamber of Commerce is just established in response
to heartfelt |

of member enterprise and market economic development.

to serve member wholeheartly, maintain the market economy

Commerce is the very need of beverage market in the capital,

desire of beverage colleague that responsible for consumer
